Celebrating our 175th Year!

How grateful we are for those that came before us and had the foresight to plant an Anglican church in Brampton. This year, we are celebrating our 175th anniversary of being rooted in the heart of the city. While more events may unfold, we want to draw your attention to:
Photo Directory: Over the winter Parish Families were invited to participate in a new directory. We look forward to its completion.
Easter Tea: On May 3rd, while still in the Season of Easter, our Children, Youth and Family Ministry hosted a tea following worship. How grand to see these young people serving across the many ministries at Christ Church.

Spring Concert: On June 12th, we enjoyed a special evening “The Journey: Strength for the Road” with music, story-telling and inspiration. As an added bonus, we provided a free-will offering opportunity to our local ministry partner, Regeneration Outreach Community.

Ministry Volunteer Appreciation: On June 14th, the Clergy and staff hosted a special Sunday Coffee Hour thanking our numerous volunteers across the many ministries of Christ Church. We honoured close to 100 current volunteers that bring our ministries to life at Christ Church.

Doors Open: A Brampton-wide celebration of history where we join other locations and open the doors for tours on Saturday, October 3.
Ministry Fair: What a better way to showcase our ministries than on Harvest Sunday, October 4. Maybe you will discover a new interest or discover gift to offer?
Visioning Workshop: We will gather in the fall to imagine where our ministry might be heading in the next 5 to 10 years.
Rededication Sunday: We will conclude our formal celebrations with a Rededication of Christ Church on Sunday, November 22, The Reign of Christ with The Rt. Rev. Andrew Asbil, Bishop of Toronto, presiding. The worship service will be a Parish Luncheon.
