Small Group Studies

What?

Across the Anglican Communion and indeed the globe, we are being affected in some way by Covid-19 (Coronavirus).  Even with our buildings closed, the Church is still here, present amongst us, the living body of  Christ.  Join us for a 5-week study that seeks to create space to bring our hopes and fears before God and build resilience and trust ~ a time to reflect on God's presence and love.  The five sessions are as follows:

  1. Do Not Be Afraid

  2. Calming the Storm

  3. Building Hope

  4. Hope Rooted in God

  5. Your Kingdom Come

When?

We are offering sessions both in the evening and morning.

  1. Thursday Evenings @ 7:00 pm starting May 28 with a short service of Evening Prayer.

  2. Tuesday Mornings @ 11:00 am with a short service of Mid-Day Prayer

Where?

In the comfort of your own home.  You will want to have your Bible handy.

How?

The prayers sessions will be offered via Zoom.  Participants can join the sessions either by audio/video from their devices or by simply calling in.  Contact The Rev. Canon Byron Gilmore for a Zoom invitation and/or any questions.  Byron can be reached by phone @ 905-451-6649 ext 22 or by email @  rectorchristchurch@bellnet.ca

Our Confirmation Class and Youth Group are joining forces (with Michelle & Tina) to for this 5-week study starting on Tuesday, May 26 @ 4:30 - 5:15 pm.  Imagine the inter-generational dinner table conversations!  To join the youth version via Zoom, please contact:  curate.christchurchbrampton@gmail.com

Small group studies are offered throughout the church year. Lead by trained lay leaders and offered in a variety of locations and times, these groups give parishioners an opportunity to meet, study, pray and grow together.
