Small Group Studies

Fall is often a time of renewal and a kick-start to our programming year.  Rather than January, many of us see this Is a time to make some new resolutions or take on a new discipline.  With that in mind, we are delighted announce the launch of Thursday Evening Bible Study starting in September led by Archdeacon Theadore.  We will be starting with the Gospel of Matthew using N.T. Wright For Everyone Bible Study Guide.

The Important Details

Start Date:  Thursday, September 4th

Time:  7:30 to 8:30 pm

Where:  Zoom link will be posted on our website

Duration:  Weekly for 26 sessions.  With a few breaks scheduled, we would anticipate ending the Matthew study by Easter.   

Who:  It is meant for everyone!

What to expect:

  • A highly readable book that will guide us through the Gospel of Matthew.

  • Weekly we will unpack The Gospel of Matthew through discussion, reflection and application

Materials:  Books are available at the office for $20 or you can purchase a Kindle version.

More about N.T. Wright

N.T. Wright is the former Bishop of Durham in the Church of England and one of the world’s leading Bible scholars. He is now serving as the Chair of New Testament and Early Christianity at the School of Divinity at the University of St. Andrews.
