Announcing our new Incumbent (April 27, 2025)
On April 27th, it was announced that The Venerable Theadore Hunt has been appointed as our new Incumbent effective June 15, 2025. In addition to his role at Christ Church, Archdeacon Theadore is responsible for the Central archdeaconry reporting to Bishop Andrew Asbil. He is currently the incumbent of St. Stephen, Downsview. Ordained in the Diocese of the Bahamas, he is a member of Synod Council, a Fresh Start facilitator and a member of the Bishop’s Committee on Healing Ministries. We are grateful for the diligent and prayerful work of our Parish Selection Committee and ask that you commit this new phase in our parish life to prayer.
​Lord, we thank you for guiding the Parish Selection Committee to their final choice of Theodore Hunt as the new incumbent of Christ Church. May the congregation open their hearts to him and to his family, and partner with him as he assumes spiritual leadership at Christ Church. May Archdeacon Theodore also find inspiration and fulfillment in his new role, so that Christ Church will continue to thrive, grow in faith and serve the community under his charge.
